Cookie Policy
We use four cookies. All of them are strictly necessary to run the site — there are no advertising, tracking or analytics cookies here.

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Some are essential for a site to work — remembering you're logged in, for example. Others track you across the web for advertising. We only use the first kind.
The cookies we use
| Cookie | What it does | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
| wk_customer | Keeps you logged in to your account so you don't have to sign in every visit. | 90 days |
| wk_admin | Keeps the kitchen team logged in to the private admin area. Only set for staff. | 30 days |
| wk_preview | Set when you enter the preview code, so you can view the site before launch. | 30 days |
| wk_cookie_notice | Remembers that you've seen the cookie notice so we don't show it again. | 1 year |
Why we don't ask for consent
UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations) requires consent for tracking and marketing cookies, but not for cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service you've asked for — like keeping you signed in. Since those are the only cookies we set, there's nothing to opt out of. We show you a notice so you know what's happening, rather than a fake choice.
If we ever add analytics or marketing cookies, we'll ask for your permission first and update this page.
Third parties
We don't embed advertising networks, social media pixels or analytics scripts. When you check a postcode at checkout, the postcode alone is sent to the Postcodes.io lookup service to calculate your delivery fee — no cookies are set by them.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking ours won't stop you browsing the menu, but you won't be able to stay logged in to an account.
More detail on how we handle your data is in our Privacy Policy, or email info@wilfskitchen.com.
